A nerf what? Gun versus Blaster

Greetings,
So, as you are all aware, the most common term for the line of dart firing toys made by Buzz Bee, Airzone, and of course, Nerf, is a gun.  It is a cultural norm.  It is also common for the darts to be referred to as bullets. The purpose of this particular post is to warn against the use of these terms.  First of all, the darts are obviously NOT bullets. They are made of foam and rubber and in rare cases, plastic.  Bullets are made of shaped metal and are placed in a shell with gunpowder that fires off the bullet when it ignites. I've never seen this action with any foam dart. Also, Nerf blasters are NOT guns. Even though they resemble them, they aren't. I recommend against using this term mostly because of the trouble it brings. For example, I am a college student. We aren't allowed to have Nerf blasters. Know why? because they are viewed as weapons! Your use of the word "gun" colors everyone's view of these harmless toys. So, please, for the sake of Nerfing, stop calling them guns.

Craigslist

 Hey guys (and gals!) derpy here, just scored some nerf stuff from craigslist, after a tedious drive and frustration from instructions I finally ended up with all this junk. I don't know if it was worth it, but I'm happy. Essentially all the mods that were done were done by a 16 yr old kid, and I'm going to work on them during spring break to make them a bit prettier. And heres what I got...

 A frick ton of ammo (stefans, taggers, buzzbee, stickies, streamlines) A magstrike with 4 clips, a rapid fire 20, a hyperfire, a buzzbee...thing, not really sure what it is, and a singled titan. All of which work perfectly.

Nerf Snapfire 8?

Hey guys (and gals!) I recently noticed some hype about a new dart tag blaster titled the snapfire. The blaster allegedly primes itself on the trigger pull making it semi-auto (and very useful). Supposedly there is a dial on the bottom indicating range to rate of fire, and the ability to change the ratio. I'm thinking this won't get much attention considering elite will be coming out, but I think the concept is cool.

Hey guys (and gals!) Derpy here, and I thought I might post some of my recent findings with you nerfers out there. Recently when I was out thrifting, I uncovered (literally) 2 nerf hornets. There was a blue one, and a red one. The blue one didn't work, and for some reason was more than the red one that DID work. I know now that I should have bought the blue one anyways, but its probably gone now. I also scored a recon for free. Its only getting ranges of 15ft for some reason, probably just needs cleaned up. Will be modding it soon.  Another find: on craigslist I was cruzing the "toys and games" section, and came across a nerf lot for $40. The post said "Most of them modded and will shoot farther than any stock toy guns." From what I can see from the picture, there are 2 painted nitefinders, a magstrike with 5 clips, a rapid fire 20, a tommy 20, and a singled titan.  The tommy 20 and titan are both painted, whereas the rest look relatively stock. I think I'm going to have to grab this deal before someone else does.  What are some of your best finds?  Share in the comments below.

Hey nerfers. Just starting to author on this blog. I encourage you to stay a while ask Qs and learn a ton. Hey yall :D

Hey guys, (and gals!) I just talked to a future author. He might be posting here soon. (I can't do all the work!) Heres a picture of some new blasters from the n-strike elite line. What do you guys think of these not-so-far-off blasters? I'm sort of mad (and glad) that they are creating a new ammo type. I'll have to buy a ton of the new ammo, thats money already down the drain, but I'm interested in this new dart type.  Anyways, while you wait for some beastly nerf content, heres some wisdom from a popular nerfer:
